At the exchange meeting, Vice Director Yueyang spoke highly of the cultivation work of the Economic Development Zone and the "small-to-scale" enterprises, and the growth of newly-scaled enterprises in recent years. In order to precisely connect with newly-scaled enterprises, Yue Yang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, led a team including Zheng Bingting, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, and Jin Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the District Economic Development Bureau, to conduct a "small-to-medium enterprise" (SME) research activity at our company. Company executives, Chairman Li and Executive Vice President Wan, accompanied the provincial leaders on a tour of the production workshop. Chairman Li presented the provincial leaders with the company's challenges, including high technological barriers, large investment capital requirements, and a poor financing environment. Deputy Director Yue Yang stated that relevant departments should pay more attention to enterprises that are undergoing transformation and upgrading, are Zhejiang entrepreneurs' re-entrepreneurial ventures, are in the new materials and new energy industries, and are innovative companies that break foreign monopolies. More support and assistance should be provided in terms of technology, talent introduction, and financing, and efforts should be made to help enterprises overcome the difficulties they face through multiple channels and approaches.
